Visual Analysis of Research Hotspots on Multidrug-Resistant Organisms in ICU
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the current status and research hotspots of multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) in intensive care units (ICUs) at home and abroad, providing a reference for better management of MDROs in ICUs. Methods: Literature related to MDROs in ICUs was retrieved from the CNKI and Web of Science Core Collection databases. CiteSpace 6.2.R2 software was used for visual analysis of the relevant literature. Results: A total of 1,236 English papers and 1,198 Chinese papers were included. The annual publication volume of both Chinese and English literature showed a year-by-year increasing trend. The research hotspots of Chinese literature were Klebsiella pneumoniae, influencing factors, and prevention and control. The research hotspots of English literature were critical care, outcome, antimicrobial stewardship, septic shock, and neonatal sepsis. Conclusion: Both domestic and international communities are paying more attention to the issue of MDRO infections in ICUs. The research hotspots abroad are relatively diversified. In the future, China still needs to focus on and implement various prevention and control measures, pay attention to critical care, and actively monitor MDROs in ICUs. It is important to focus on preventing MDRO infections in sepsis patients in ICUs and to study and manage them from more perspectives.
