Application of the Home Nursing Program Based on 'Offline Lecture + Online Supervision' in Patients with Enterostomy
Abstract：Objective: To explore the application effect of the home nursing program based on 'offline lecture + online supervision' in patients with enterostomy. Methods: A convenience sampling method was used to select 116 patients with enterostomy admitted to the hospital from July 2021 to July 2023. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the observation group and the control group, with 58 cases in each group. The control group received routine home nursing intervention, while the observation group received the home nursing program based on 'offline lecture + online supervision'. The intervention lasted for 3 months. The scores of knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) related to stoma, self-care ability [Self-Care Ability Scale (ESCA)], and quality of life [Stoma Patients' Quality of Life Scale] were compared before and after the intervention between the two groups. The incidence of stoma-related complications during the intervention period was also recorded. Results: After the intervention, the KAP score, total ESCA score, and quality of life scale score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The incidence of stoma-related complications during the intervention period in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The home nursing program based on 'offline lecture + online supervision' can effectively improve the knowledge, attitude, and practice level of patients with enterostomy, enhance their self-care ability, effectively prevent the occurrence of stoma-related complications, and improve the quality of life.
