Abstract：On May 19-27, the 17th Advanced Lighting Designer Training Course of the Chinese Society of Lighting was successfully held at Shanghai Opple Lighting Co., Ltd., on the occasion of the 9th National Science and Technology Workers' Day on May 30. In 2007, based on the development status and trends of the lighting design profession, the Chinese Society of Lighting proposed and compiled the 'National Occupational Standard for Lighting Designers' to the former Ministry of Personnel. The occupation of Lighting Designer was included in the 'National Occupational Classification Dictionary' in 2008.
