摘要：How are the symptoms of monkeypox different from those of chickenpox?
Monkeypox and chickenpox are infectious diseases caused by different viruses.The causative agent of chickenpox is the varicella-zoster virus.Both diseases present with rashes.The monkeypox rash is typically round,firm in texture,and scabs over in 2-4 weeks,sometimes leaving scars.The chickenpox rash mainly consists of vesicles with thin walls,which scab over in 1-2 weeks,and which generally do not leave scars.
