摘要：The 3rd South China Cardiovascular Scientific Sessions was held on August 4th ～ 6th, 2001 in Guangzhou.There were a total of 119 papers published, 13 lectures given by well- known cardiologists from inland and other parts of the world and 13 satellite conferences.These sessions were characterized by abundant updated information and advance in research on cardiovascular diseases in basic and clinical sciences. They are summarized as follows:
