摘要： We have come a long-way since Andreas Gruentzig performed the first percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) in man in 1977. It is timely to assess what we have actually achieved for patients with coronary heart disease with the advent of this treatment modality and where we are heading from now.
