Interstitial Cajal-like cells arrhythmogenic potential substrate of pulmonary veins

摘要：Interstitial Cajal-like cells(ICLC)have been found in the atrium,ventricle and pulmonary vein in human and anmials.ICLC with very long processes and space structure,Cell processes establish close spatial relationships between each other,as well as with cardiomyocyte and nerve endings.ICLC appear located among the myocardial cells and particularly at the border between the myocardial sleeve,and pulmonary vein wall.ICLC seems to possess automaticity and triggered activity.ICLC is a potential substrate for arrhythmia.
