Progress in the mechanism study of long chain noncoding RNA in cardiovascular diseases

摘要:Background Long chain noncoding RNA (lncRNA) lacks the ability to encode proteins and is initially considered to be transcriptional noise.Studies have shown that lncRNA is involved in the occurrence and development of many human diseases by regulating gene expression,and more and more evidence have indicated the role of lncRNA in common cardiovascular diseases,including atherosclerosis,myocardial infarction,heart failure,hypertension,aneurysm and so on.This review summarizes the molecular mechanisms of lncRNA in common cardiovascular diseases and provides evidence for exploring new therapeutic targets for these diseases.
