Research progress of CAIF in cardiovascular diseases

摘要：RNA is the carrier of genetic information existing in biological cells and some viruses and viroids.Long-chain non-coding RNA(lncRNA)plays an essential role in many biological processes in the human body,which can regulate gene expression.Cardiac autophagy inhibition factor(CAIF)is a new type of lncRNA discovered recently.Clinical studies and animal experiments have found that CAIF plays a protective role in sepsis-induced chronic heart failure and can also predict the survival rate of patients with end-stage cardiomyopathy.This paper focuses on the research progress of CAIF in cardiovascular diseases.Looking forward to further research in the later period,it will provide new targets for preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases.
