摘要：Cathepsin L(CTSL)is a member of cysteine cathepsin and has endopeptidase activity.CTSL exists widely in various tissues and cells and participates in protein degradation,extracellular matrix remodeling,autopha-gy and other processes.With the deepening of research,it is found that CTSL is related to the occurrence of cardio-vascular diseases.This article introduces the research progress of CTSL in atherosclerosis,coronary heart disease,intimal hyperplasia,dilated cardiomyopathy,abdominal aortic aneurysm,hypertension,vascular aging,in order to provide research direction for CTSL.
