摘要：INTRODUCTION
The medulla oblongata is located at the low-est end of the brainstem.Damage to the ambigu-ous nucleus at the level of the upper medulla ob-longata can lead to swallowing disorders,paral-ysis of the ipsilateral soft palate,larynx,and epi-glottis,hoarseness,and unclear speech,known as true bulbar palsy or medullary paralysis.
