摘要：INTRODUCTION
Subacute thyroiditis is a self-limiting inflam-matory disorder of the thyroid gland in which a viral infection has most often been implicated as the cause.Many cases of subacute thyroiditis follow an upper respiratory viral illness,which is thought to trigger inflammatory destruction of thyroid follicles.
