摘要： As a class of drugs, statins have gained renown for their ability to effectively reduce cardiovascular events in both patients with heart diseases (secondary prevention)and in those who, while not with manifest heart disease (primary prevention), are at increased risk based on a variety of risk factors including hypertension, diabetes, and age.
