摘要:Inappropriate shock of implantable cardi-overter defibrillator(ICD)is a rare but cata-strophic phenomenon.Inappropriate shock is usually caused by oversensing of noise or supra-ventricular tachycardias(SVTs).However,inappro-priate shock can also be triggered by other uncom-mon mechanisms.Lead dislodgement is also rare in patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices, which can manifest as pacing failure and mis-sensing of other signals. Here,we report a rare case of inap-propriate ICD shock triggered by lead dislodge-ment complicated with paroxysmal atrial fibrilla-tion(PAF)in an elderly patient.
