摘要：In 1999,China released its first edition of the"Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Hypertension",which was subsequently updated in 2005,2010,and 2018,establishing a diagnostic,as-sessment,grading,stratification,prevention,inter-vention,and management framework for hyperten-sion tailored to the unique characteristics of the Chinese population.Over the past two decades,these guidelines have been widely implemented in clinical practice across China and have played a sig-nificant role in the management of hypertension and chronic diseases,the development of grass-roots guidelines,the formulation of clinical path-ways,and the implementation of health insurance policies.
