摘要:Anticoagulation has long been the standard of care for preventing embolic events in atrial fibrillation(AF).[1]The elderly AF generation is more susceptible to thromboembolic incidents. They are also more likely to encounter hemorrhagic and other complications when using anticoagulants. Therefore, percutaneous left atrial appendage occlusion(pLAAO)is regarded as an appealing alternative therapy for pre-venting stroke in patients who are poor candidates for long-term anticoagulation.
