摘要： Interventional radiology was started not long after the discovery of X - rays. Interventions started as image guided biopsies and angiographies early this century, later emerged computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound-guided interventions in the 1970s and ultimately the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) guided interventions at the 1980s.
