摘要：Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis ( DISH ), also called Forestier’s disease, is characterized by calciifcation and ossiifcation of ligaments and soft tissues, and its pathology is still uncertain. Most of the patients with DISH do not have serious clinical symptoms. Dysphagia caused by calciifcation or ossiifcation in the cervical spine is a rare occurrence. A patient with DISH who had severe dysphagia due to ossiifcation in the cervical spine was treated recently, whose clinical data was reported as following.
