摘要：Rehabilitation in orthopedics is not only one of the main contents of rehabilitation medicine, but also an important part of clinical orthopedics. The relationship of mutual interdependence and facilitation exists between orthopedic rehabilitation and clinical orthopedics. It emphasizes the importance of rehabilitation for improving the clinical effects. The concept of holistic integrative medicine is introduced. The meaning of rehabilitation in the orthopedics is explored focusing on the function. A multidisciplinary approach is taken to promote the functional recovery of patients and their early returning to society. Finally, from the dream of Chinese orthopedic rehabilitation, the joint development of regenerative medicine and rehabilitation training, integration of clinical orthopedics and rehabilitation, progress of medical model and a new tread in modern rehabilitation equipment are foreseen.
