摘要：The incidence of congenital hand anomalies is about 2‰ in neonates. In recent years, patients with congenital hand anomalies have increased gradually in clinic, so hand surgeons, pediatric orthopedic surgeons and plastic surgeons should attach importance to the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. The classification scheme dictates the treatment algorithm. Accurate classification is necessary for appropriate treatment. Polydactyly, syndactyly, thumb hypoplasia, and cleft hand are particularly commonplace and are discussed in this article. The surgeons should balance the function, cosmetic, and culture goals. The principles of diagnosis, treatment and surgical techniques are emphasized to maximize hand function and aesthetic outcomes.
