摘要:As an important diagnostic tool in clinical practice, nuclear imaging techniques worked by detecting nuclide-marked tracers in the body. Three-phase bone scintigraphy, single-photon emission computed tomography ( SPECT ) and positron emission tomography ( PET ) are commonly used, especially the traditional three-phase bone scintigraphy. In the practice of pediatric orthopedics, nuclear imaging is used in the diagnosis and treatment of tumor, low back pain, inflammation, trauma, avascular necrosis and etc. It can help in the precise evaluation and staging of tumors and their reactions to the treatment, the detection of multiple or occult lesions, the diagnosis of low back pain as well as perfusion or metabolic status assessment. Nuclear imaging plays an indispensible role in the staging of tumor and the detection of multiple lesions; while in inflammation and trauma it is an important supplement to mainstream imaging methods. Recently with the popularization of SPECT and PET, the combination of structural and functional imaging would throw new light on the diagnosis of many diseases in pediatric orthopedics.
