低促性腺激素性性腺功能减退症致股骨颈骨折骨不愈合一例报告

摘要：Objective To investigate the causes, diagnosis and treatment of nonunion of femoral neck fracture with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. Methods Clinical data of a case of femoral neck nonunion was analyzed and related literature was reviewed. Results The patient underwent internal fixation after the fracture of the left femoral neck caused by violent sprain. X-ray of the hip showed bone nonunion 11 months later. After admission, secondary hypoplasia, delayed epiphysis closure were observed. Luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone, testosterone and estradiol were significantly lower than the normal range. Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism was diagnosed.After oral administration of testosterone undecanoate and promotion of bone healing, the fracture ends were clearly connected. Trabecular bone appeared, left hip joint pain was relieved, and functions were improved. Conclusions For patients with fracture nonunion, history and related physical examinations should be emphasized. Hypogonadotropin hypogonadism should be considered in patients with secondary hypoplasia and significant decrease in sex hormone level.
