摘要:Objective To analyze the feasibility of 3D-printed socket components for limited revision of fractured tumor joint prostheses.Methods We treated two patients with fractured tumor-type joints but no loosening of the prosthetic stem.We customized a 3D printed socket component preoperatively and performed a limited revision of the fractured prosthetic stem by snapping the original prosthesis without removing it intraoperatively.Results The procedure went smoothly and the operation time was short.The patient could get out of bed early for functional exercises after the operation.The prosthesis was in good condition with no signs of loosening during the follow-up of 2 years.Case 1,postoperative review X-ray and CT at 2 years after surgery showed that the prosthesis was well-positioned,the 3D printed porous structure was in close contact with the bone cortex,the original intramedullary stalk was located in the socket,and the peripheral bone cement was satisfactorily filled.Case 2,postoperative X-ray showed that the 3-winged porous structure was firmly fixed with the femoral cortex,and both lower limbs were equal in length.Conclusions The 3D-printed socket component limited revision of the fractured tumor joint prosthesis with no loosening of the prosthetic stem is clinically feasible with less trauma and fast postoperative recovery.
