摘要：Osteoarthritis (OA),as a common degenerative joint disease,involves a variety of factors in its pathogenesis,including mechanical injury,gender difference,aging,overweight,and inflammation. The types of chondrocyte death primarily include apoptosis,autophagy,pyroptosis,necroptosis,and ferroptosis. These forms of cell death are not only independent but also interact and overlap,affecting the survival and demise of OA chondrocytes. This article comprehensively describes the regulatory factors of chondrocyte death,the types of death,and the associations among different types of death. Additionally,the article discusses the potential applications of chondrocyte death in the treatment of OA,proposing that targeted regulation of these cell death pathways may offer new strategies to alleviate or halt the progression of OA. In summary,a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of chondrocyte death in OA will provide a scientific basis for the development of new treatment methods,potentially offering more effective treatment options for OA patients.
