摘要：Ulnar impingement syndrome(UIS)is a common cause of ulnar pain in the wrist,meanwhile a degenerative disease that results in a series of pathological changes and symptoms due to overload of the entire ulnar wrist joint.Ulnar impingement syndrome often associates with positive ulnar variation.It also occurs in wrist joints with neutral or negative ulnar variation,which can lead to wrist pain,as well as decreased grip strength,wrist function and work ability.At present,there is still insufficient recognition of UIS in the orthopaedic field,causing missed diagnosis and delayed treatment.This article provides a comprehensive and detailed introduction to its etiology,anatomy,biomechanics,clinical manifestations,imaging diagnosis,and treatment methods to increase further understanding of it.
