摘要：Age related macular degeneration (AMD) is a complex progressive neurodegenerative disease causing blindness in 30–35 million people worldwide. It affects the macula region of the retina leading to severe vision loss and legal blindness in individuals > 50 years of age (Wong et al., 2014).
