摘要:Parkinson's disease:Parkinson's disease(PD)is the second most prevalent neurodegenerative disease,after Alzheimer's disease,affecting 1%of the general population over the age of 65 years.According to data from the World Health Organization(WHO),its prevalence has doubled in the past 25 years.In 2019,global estimates indicated over 8.5 million individuals with PD and it is suggested that PD caused 329000 deaths,an increase of over 100%since 2000(WHO,2022).Although there are pharmacological interventions that improve the quality of life of PD patients,this brain disorder still has no cure.
