摘要：An aging population is a double-edged sword.On one hand,advancements in biotechnology and healthcare allow more people to enjoy longer lives.On the other hand,increases in the aging population accompany a surge in age-associated diseases,particularly neurodegenerative disorders.Since aging is the primary risk factor for many neurodegenerative disorders,living longer does not necessarily equate to maintaining a reasonable quality of life(Feigin et al.,2020).
