Abstract:In the military field, smoke screen simulations based on physical models have always been a focal point of research for scholars around the world.Addressing the issue of slow mesh division efficiency in physical models,a spatial organization meth-od based on BVH trees is proposed, along with occlusion culling to optimize rendering speed.Additionally,to address the impact of the environment on smoke simulation,a transmission model of infrared radiation from naval ships on the sea surface is established. This model enables full-chain modeling of the journey from the ship and sea surface through the atmosphere and smoke to the detec-tor and image formation. After experimentation, the smoke simulation efficiency is significantly improved with spatial optimization, and evaluation metrics for the effectiveness of smoke interference are proposed.Quantitative analyses of both the smoke simulation imagery and infrared radiation calculations are conducted.
