Early Seedling Rearing Technology of Largemouth Bass in Pond Greenhouse
Abstract：In recent years, the early seedling rearing of largemouth bass in ponds in Huzhou, Zhejiang has been affected by factors such as temperature, changes in natural food abundance in the water body, and outbreaks of largemouth bass rhabdovirus disease, resulting in a low success rate of about 10%, with many cases of total failure. The biggest limiting factor for the early seedling rearing of largemouth bass in this city is water temperature. Building plastic greenhouses can solve this limiting condition. Pond insulation greenhouse seedling rearing can improve the success rate of early seedling rearing of largemouth bass, providing a new approach for large-scale seed production. The author conducted an experimental study on the early seedling rearing technology of largemouth bass in pond greenhouses at Shengjiang Family Farm in Nanxun in 2022 and 2023.
