Abstract:Water inrush occurred when water prospecting holes were drilled in east ginny cross-cut at+200 m level in Jin'echi Coal Mine, the water inflow rate quickly increased from the original 80 m3/h to 320 m3/h in a short period of time, with water quantity up to 200 m3/h and lasting for more than three months. In this paper, analysis and discrimination were made on the inrush characteristics of the roof karst fissure make-up water from the aspects of water quantity, water quality, the water-flowing and water-bearing structure of roof rock stratum, the make-up water source, the hydraulic connection, etc. and verification was carried out through geophysical prospecting and block up water grouting. Based on the verification results, the mine hydro-geological characteristics were further corrected, this thus provided scientific basis for the adjustment of the mine development layout and the prevention and control for mining.
