Analysis on separation of tar and dust during pyrolysis of small-size low rank coal

Abstract：The reason of high dust content of high temperature pyrolysis gas in small-size low rank coal pyrolysis process and the system characteristics of pyrolysis gas which containing dust were analyzed.Application circumstances of every dust removal technology in low rank coal pyrolysis field were compared, it was indicated that controlling the pyrolysis source and matching coupled dust removal technology could solve the problem of tar and dust separation for pyrolysis process.It was also suggested that enhancing some basic studies like high temperature characteristics of pyrolysis gas system containing dust, oriented pyrolysis of low rank coal, light aromatics of coal tar, raising dust and dust removal mechanisms were necessary, so that some relative technological research could be supported.Multistage dust reduction process including dust-suppression, dust-falling and dust-removal has showed favorable application prospect.
