Abstract：Through the analysis of working principal and screen surface motion of curved screen, the necessity of installing beater on curved screen was demonstrated.Regarding to shortages of the original mechanical beater, the GHQD type of pneumatic beater was developed for fine coal slime curved screen.Through the industrial test and usage effect instruction of fine coal slime beater curved screen in Linxi coal preparation plant, the beater was good when used in aspect of flotation feed size control, the process index of curved screen was improved.
