Discussion on effective and clean utilization of Chinese coal resources

Abstract：According to the basic characteristics and distribution circumstance of reserves and yield of different kinds of coal in China, and combining with the current coal utilizing status, the efficient and clean utilization ways of different kinds of coal were discussed.For lignite, this paper suggested that some efficient and clean utilization ways like liquefaction, gasification and advanced burner should be developed based on developing dehydration, modification and upgrading technologies vigorously; for other kinds of steam coal, according to its degree of coalification, corresponding technologies such as direct liquefaction, indirect liquefaction, gasification, blast furnace injection, IGCC and coal water mixture were proposed; for coal used for coking, technologies like large-capacity coke oven and dry quenching which could reach energy-saving and emission-reduction significantly should be developed, as well as the stamp coking technology which is mainly used for low rank coal coking.
