Abstract：Combined with the principle and determination steps of phosphorus molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method, and practical experience of determining phosphorus in coal, the influencing factors of determining phosphorus in coal using phosphorus molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method was discussed in this paper from aspects such as ash sample acid solution, absorbing volume of test solution, coloration temperature and time control, mixing solution making when needed, interference of impurity element, use of hydrofluoric acid.So the accuracy of determination of phosphorus content in coal could be improved.
