Discussion on influencing factors of the Gray-King assay of coal

Abstract：In this paper, combining with the basic principles of the Gray-King assay and practical experience in operating, influencing factors in the Gray-King assay were analyzed from aspects such as sample weighing before and after experiment, sample loading, destructive distillation furnace temperature, water channel temperature, the total moisture of destructive distillation and the coke type judgement, meanwhile, some precautions like controlling the destructive distillation furnace temperature,water channel temperature and rate of distillation strictly, paying attention to weighing of conical flask and destructive distillation tube after the experiments were also proposed.
