Laboratory slurry flocculation and settling experiment about molecular weight and degree of hydrolysis of polyacrylamide

Abstract：This paper introduced two quality indexes of polyacrylamide(molecular weight and degree of hydrolysis) and their effects on flocculation and settling,and according to the GB17514 Water treatment chemicals-Polyacrylamide, the quality of sample provided by supplier was tested,at the same time,the laboratory slurry flocculation and settling test was done,the regulations between molecular weight,degree of hydrolysis and clarifying water quality were verified,a regression equation with extremely good significance was obtained.
