Simplified evaluation of uncertainty on proximate analysis of coal

Abstract：The proximate analysis of coal was determined in accordance with national standard of GB/T 212—2008 ‘Proximate analysis of coal’, the uncertainties of four origins analysis were evaluated respectively including moisture、 ash、 volatile matter and fixed carbon of coal. It is concluded that the uncertainty of repeatability is the largest component in various origins of uncertainty.A usable and simplified method to evaluate the uncertainty of proximate analysis of coal in daily work is proposed.
