Adjustment of production system for Liujiamao steam coal preparation plant

Abstract：According to the greater difference of coal quality between raw coal and design data of coal preparation plant in Liujiamao coal mine, the production problems during early stage including abnormal fluctuation of feeding capacity, excessive undersize fraction of small clean coal and low calorific value of coarse slime were discussed.The specific measures to adjust production system such as increasing the buffer function of funnel under classifying screen, enlarging sieving area of clean coal sculping screen, lowering ash content of middlings coal slime were introduced emphatically.The economic benefit obtained after the system adjustment was estimated, and depth profile analysis on the buffer function of raw coal, screening effect of clean coal sculping screen and the tailing trend of waste rock magnetic extractor was done.
