Abstract：Development of low rank coal pyrolysis and its representative technology at home and abroad have been introduced briefly.Technology characteristics and the existing problems of the main coal pyrolysis process were analyzed.Low rank coal pyrolysis development of CCRI was expounded. Technological process and technical feature have been detailed introduced of MRF, inner-heated rotary bed and inner rotating bed pyrolysis.Development trend and research emphasis are prospected for low rank coal pyrolysis.It was indicated that dust suppression in the process of pyrolysis should be combined with molecular structure characteristics of low rank coal. And it was also important to develop product quality control technology of low rank coal so as to form an integrated industrial chain.
