Abstract:According to the requirements of robotic coal quality testing, the authors propose a novel quick-opening structure oxygen bomb, which replaces the traditional threaded connection with a cam-clamp coupling mechanism, significantly reducing the oxygen bomb opening and closing time.Through finite element analysis, the stress distribu-tion and structural stability of the oxygen bomb under oxygen charging pressure, instantaneous high pressure during combustion, and fatigue cyclic loading were studied.Water pressure deformation experiments, air tightness testing, and precision and accuracy checks were also conducted.Experimental results show that the new quick-opening oxygen bomb made of 20Cb-3 nickel-chromium-molybdenum high-alloy steel meets the requirements for plastic collapse failure evaluation, local failure evaluation, prevention of ratchet failure due to cyclic loading, and prevention of fatigue fail-ure due to cyclic loading after 10 years of use.The average opening and closing time of the quick-opening oxygen bomb is 5 seconds, which is only 16%of the single-headed threaded oxygen bomb and 30%of the triple-headed threaded oxygen bomb, significantly reducing the operator's labor intensity and improving the success rate of robotic oxygen bomb opening and closing.Furthermore, compared to traditional threaded oxygen bombs, the new oxygen bomb does not show significant differences in calorimeter measurement accuracy. This study provides technical support for the development of unmanned coal detection technology.
