Clinical Observation of Guanxin Tongluo Capsule in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Abstract:Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect of Guanxin Tongluo Capsule on patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: A total of 110 patients who underwent PCI for coronary heart disease at the Central Hospital of Jiaozuo Coal Mining Group Co., Ltd. from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects. According to the random number sequence method, 55 patients with odd numbers were assigned to the control group and received only dual antiplatelet therapy. Meanwhile, 55 patients with even numbers were assigned to the observation group and received Guanxin Tongluo Capsule combined with dual antiplatelet therapy. The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome efficacy, cardiac function indicators, liver function indicators, coagulation four items, inflammatory indicators, platelet aggregation rate, and the incidence of in-stent restenosis in the BA9 stent after PCI were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome efficacy of the observation group (92.73%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (74.55%) (P < 0.05). After treatment, the cardiac function indicators, liver function indicators, coagulation function indicators, and inflammatory indicators of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The platelet aggregation rate (7.27%) and the incidence of in-stent restenosis in the BA9 stent after PCI (7.27%) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (23.64% and 21.82%, respectively) (P < 0.05). Conclusion: For patients with coronary heart disease undergoing PCI, postoperative treatment with dual antiplatelet drugs combined with Guanxin Tongluo Capsule can effectively improve clinical symptoms, cardiac function, liver function, coagulation function, reduce inflammatory response, and decrease the incidence of in-stent restenosis in the BA9 stent.
