Treatment of Diabetic Dermopathy Based on the Theory of Toxic Pathogenic Factors in Traditional Chinese Medicine
Abstract:Diabetic dermatopathy is a common complication of diabetes. The author discusses the pathogenesis and pathophysiological mechanisms of diabetic dermatopathy from the perspective of the theory of toxic pathogenic factors in traditional Chinese medicine, believing that 'toxic pathogenic factors' run through the entire course of the disease. The method of eliminating toxic pathogenic factors was used to treat conditions such as diabetic pruritus and diabetic herpes zoster. The treatment mainly focuses on 'endogenous toxic pathogenic factors' and has achieved significant clinical efficacy.
