Effect of Xuesaitong Soft Capsules Combined with Ginkgo Diterpenoid Lactone Glucosamine Injection on Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke
Abstract：Objective: To explore the efficacy of Xuesaitong soft capsules combined with ginkgo diterpenoid lactone glucosamine injection (DGMI) in the treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Methods: A total of 80 AIS patients admitted to Xiayi County People's Hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. According to different treatment regimens, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received DGMI treatment, while the observation group received Xuesaitong soft capsules in addition to DGMI treatment. The clinical efficacy, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, ability to live independently, lipid levels, hemorheological indicators, serum inflammatory factors, and oxidative stress markers were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.50%, which was higher than that of the control group (85.00%), with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the total TCM syndrome score, serum triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), interleukin-6 (IL-6), malondialdehyde (MDA), C-reactive protein (CRP), and whole blood high and low shear viscosity of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, while the activities of daily living (ADL) score, serum superoxide dismutase (SOD), and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels were higher than those of the control group. All these differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Xuesaitong soft capsules combined with DGMI can enhance the clinical efficacy in patients with AIS, alleviate disease symptoms, improve self-care ability, regulate lipid levels, promote blood perfusion, and inhibit inflammatory responses.
