Effect of Gynecological Qianjin Capsule Combined with Wening Decoction on Clinical Efficacy and Pain Scores in Patients with Cold-Deficiency Type Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

Abstract：Objective: To analyze the effects of Gynecological Qianjin Capsule combined with Wening Decoction hot敷 treatment on clinical efficacy, pain scores, and related laboratory indicators in patients with cold-deficiency type chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods: A total of 50 patients with cold-deficiency type chronic pelvic inflammatory disease treated at the Seventh People's Hospital of Longgang District, Shenzhen City from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into observation group and control group using a random number table method, with 25 cases in each group. The control group received Gynecological Qianjin Capsule combined with simple hot敷 treatment, while the observation group received Gynecological Qianjin Capsule combined with Wening Decoction hot敷 treatment. The clinical efficacy, pain scores before and after treatment, pelvic effusion volume, serum inflammatory factor levels, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) scores and pelvic effusion volume of both groups were lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in both groups were lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Gynecological Qianjin Capsule combined with Wening Decoction hot敷 treatment for cold-deficiency type chronic pelvic inflammatory disease can significantly enhance clinical efficacy, alleviate patient pain, promote absorption of pelvic effusion, inhibit inflammatory responses, and has a lower incidence of adverse reactions.
