Abstract:Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of dezocine preemptive analgesia on cognitive function and stress response in patients after thoracic surgery. Methods 58 patients after thoracic surgery in First Affiliated Hospital of He-bei North University from May 2013 to May 2014 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into the observa-tion group (29 cases) and the control group (29 cases).Patients in the observation group were treated by dezocine preemp-tive analgesia, and the same volume of physiological saline treated patients in the control group.Concentration of plasma corti-sol ( Cor) and S-100 βprotein in different time were respectively detected, cognitive function and VAS Grade for pain at 24 hours after the surgery were evaluated, and postoperative cognitive dysfunction and Dosage of Fentanyl and Tramadol were re-corded.Results Compared with the preoperative, concentration of plasma cortisol (Cor) and S-100βprotein at 6h,12h and 24h after the surgery both increased in two groups ( P <0.05) , and there was no statistically significant difference in compar-ison at 48h after the surgery.Concentration of plasma cortisol (Cor) and S-100 βprotein at 6h and 12h after the surgery in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and there was significantly statistical differences ( P <0.05);Visual Analogue Scale at 6h, 12h and 24h after the surgery in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the score of cognitive function at 24h after the surgery in the observation group (27.6 ±3.5) was higher than those (23.4 ±5.3) in the control group, and the score of pain at 6h, 12h and 24h after the surgery in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group, and those were both significantly statistical differences ( P <0.05);Dosage of Fentanyl and Tramadol in the observation group were significantly fewer than those in the control group, the inci-dence of postoperative cognitive dysfunction and adverse reactions in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group. There were significantly statistical differences( P <0.05).Conclusion Dezocine preemptive analgesia could effectively alleviate pain in elderly patients after thoracic surgery, inhibit stress response, reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction and the incidence of adverse reactions, which was worthy of clinical promotion.
