Abstract:MicroRNAs ( miRNA, miR) , which are highly conserved noncoding single-stranded RNAs with 20 to 26 nucleotides, can control gene expression in eukaryotic cells. While one miRNA can regulate a variety of genes or proteins ex-pression and its expression and regulatory roles are various in different tissues.Numerous miRNAs gradually been confirmed associated with cardiovascular diseases, which found that miR-29 family can participate in the initiation and progression of heart diseases through different mechanisms, this article summarizes their mechanism of action.
