Abstract:Thromboangiitis obliterans is the segmental occlusive inflammatory condition of arteries and veins , charac-terized by thrombosis and recanalization of the affected vessels .It is a non-atherosclerotic inflammatory disease affecting small and medium sized arteries and veins of upper and lower extremities .A large number of inflammatory cells infiltrations are found in the blood vessel wall and thrombus in patients with thromboangiitis obliterans .NLRP3 inflammasome activates caspase 1, induced by interleukin ( IL) secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines and take part in immune response , and it has been found in autoimmune diseases and arterial diseases .In this paper , the role of NLRP3 inflammasome in the pathogenesis of Thromboangiitis obliterans will be further described .
