A case of rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease with dual positivity for Jo-1 and Ro-52 antibodies
Abstract:This article reports a patient with clearly diagnosed anti-synthetase syndrome with dual positivity for Jo-1 and Ro-52 antibodies who developed rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease. In addition to severe interstitial lung disease, the patient also exhibited obvious muscle weakness. Despite treatment with glucocorticoids combined with immunosuppressive agents, the interstitial lung disease continued to progress. After adding the biologic agent rituximab, the patient was successfully rescued. The diagnostic and therapeutic process is shared here, and a literature review is conducted on the clinical significance of Jo-1 and Ro-52 antibodies and the treatment of anti-synthetase syndrome.
