Chinese Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Placental Site Trophoblastic Tumor (2025 Edition)
Abstract：Placental site trophoblastic tumor (PSTT) is a rare type of gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN), accounting for 1% to 3% of all GTNs [1-2]. Its clinical manifestations are non-specific, and early diagnosis is difficult. There is currently no unified diagnostic and therapeutic pathway. To promote a comprehensive understanding of PSTT in clinical practice, the Gynecologic Oncology Group of the Chinese Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Gynecologic Oncology Group of the Chinese Society of Minimally Invasive Medicine have organized experts in related fields in China. Through systematic literature retrieval, combined with existing evidence-based medical data, collective discussion was conducted to develop this consensus, aiming to provide scientific basis and reference framework for the standardized diagnosis and treatment of PSTT in China.
